Incoming Study Abroad Students

Thank you for your interest in studying at B次元!

Our institution offers a large variety of academic programs, and is centrally located just minutes away from New York City. We are a prime destination for students from across the globe who wish to live and study in New York. Mercy is home to international students from over 55 countries, and is ready to welcome you next!

Study Abroad students have the opportunity to live conveniently in one of our residence halls, either at our bustling Manhattan campus in Herald Square, or at our suburban Dobbs Ferry campus, about 25 miles north of Manhattan. Dining facilities are located on the premises of both locations. Living in our residence halls enables study abroad students to become fully immersed into the culture and social life of Mercy's vibrant campuses. More information about residential living can be found here.

Academic Terms Available

You may wish to study during our Spring semester (late January through mid-May) or our Fall semester (early September through late December).  The academic year begins in September and ends in May. See this link for Mercy's academic calendars.

Testimonials

Empire State Building

.

鈥淟iving in New York has always been one of my dreams. And I鈥檝e enjoyed every second of this experience. It鈥檚 gone so, so fast, but it鈥檚 been awesome!"

Hockey game

"Some classes are hard work, but professors are incredibly helpful, and so are classmates. They won鈥檛 let you fall behind. Watching how the school system works here as opposed to Spain, where I鈥檓 from, has been really interesting. It鈥檚 worked out really well for me. I鈥檝e been reminded why I picked my major and has made me feel very confident in my abilities as a student, which is something I鈥檒l carry with me forever."

Hudson River

.

"New York is so easy to make friends in, even outside of campus, and there鈥檚 always something to do, so if you鈥檙e worried about not meeting people, you don鈥檛 need to be! There鈥檚 always stuff going on, and you鈥檒l find people who you share a lot of things in common with. Another piece of advice I鈥檇 have is to really take every moment in. Months go by very fast. (Oh, and buy a sun lamp for the winter! It really helps mental health.)"

"If you have the chance, I strongly encourage you to come to Mercy. You won鈥檛 regret it.鈥
