School of Education Dean Eric Martone will explore the rich history behind the naming of Verrazzano Hal and its significance to both Mercy and the broader Italian American community. Dean Martone draws from his extensive research published in . The book chronicles generations of the Italian American story, from immigration through assimilation to achievement. It also represents true Mercy collaboration, featuring articles by several faculty members and graduate students who are now alumni.
